What a show, the best thing that has ever been written for TV in my opinion. Great ending, just how I thought it should happen.
I know there will be plenty of people saying "I stopped watching when a fucking polar bear run through the woods". That was all explained!
And what about the opening scene.... EPIC!

My favourite episode was the 'paolo lies/I'm paralysed' one where two people who had never been seen before or referred to took centre stage and then got buried alive

Loved the first few series, very atmospheric. What I got fed up with was all the scenes which involves people pointing guns at Each other at point blank range. Used to happen several times an episode and is a sure sign of writers padding it out

I'm still disappointed that they didn't make a spin-off show with Sawyer/Miles as buddy cops that they were in the parallel world in the last series.

Lost was fucking shit. First series was kinda ok, then they started doing episodes in 3 different time periods past, present and future and it become unwatchable.
The writing was so utterly fucking shit too, they'd always end a scene on a massive dramatic line...and some stern looking going on...but cut the scene right there and go onto something else completely bypassing any reaction to the big news...or follow up what's going to happen next in the plot...like it was trying to be all clever and keep you hanging.
It was clearly a programme with a couple of series in mind, then they were forced to stretch it out and it become total and utter bollox.
Plus the fact Trevor BLW was constantly acting like he wrote the show and was spoon feeding everyone else who was totally clueless really put me off
